Welcome to Gloag & Sons
Farmers and specialists in fully managed contract farming agreements.
The Gloag family started farming from Busby House, Stokesley, North Yorkshire in 1918; 100 years ago.
The business has evolved over the years, with the formation of the farming company Gloag & Sons Ltd in 1960; to a farming operation producing combinable crops from 3800 acres of land, working with a network of outstanding businesses in every aspect of the industries chain.
In conjunction with the arable operation, the business specialises in grain drying, storage and bulk haulage.
Why choose us
Reflective of the now four generations and 100 years the family has farmed from Busby House, we provide the passion, skill and expertise to make every venture a successful one.
Gloag & Sons arable farming policies are driven towards optimising crop returns based on the fundamental resources of each individual land parcel.
We pride ourselves in having the knowledge and resources to manage this in conjunction with assessing the variables of the associated season and market volatility.
We have trusted relationships with all our farming partners which results in an operation which is able to embrace all that modern technology offers to the industry, through an infra structure that quite often can only be achieved by the very largest producers.
